ATI Martial Arts

ATI Martial Arts in Perth has more than 30 years of experience in martial arts instruction. With four full-time schools and 14 satellite branches throughout the Perth Metro Area, as well as in Broome and the Sunshine Coast, we are one of the biggest martial arts businesses in the country.

We provide a safe, disciplined, and inspirational environment for martial arts practitioners of all skill levels and age groups. Our instructors are all graduates of the ATI Martial Arts Certification Program. A big focus in our school is the safety training of children.  We specifically deal with child anti abduction skills, stranger danger and training children to be aware of danger and avoidance techniques to help them to protect themselves.  Child Abduction and stranger danger is a very important focus of our training and is one of the most crucial skills we pass on to our junior members.  For parents looking for a great Karate school to provide martial arts instruction. Look no further. Our Korean Karate and kickboxing classes are safe and friendly. We are sensitive to children of all types and even have special needs classes program.

Personal safety and Anti Abduction workshops are also taught as part of our curriculum.

This is the Wu and Wang family. This strong group of young people have been training big for just over two months and show some impressive skills for their level. They all moved to Australia from china six years ago and have been an energetic addition to our adult classes at Malaga. They have many of the same interests as most people their age, anime, Pokemon, Korean pop music but when it's comes to martial arts they are anything but average. These guys have a great future as Martial Artists. Left to right Jack Wang, Huilin Wu , Claire Wang, Jason Wu and Ziyi Wu.

We have a lot of members who constantly put themselves on the line. They train hard and push themselves to the limit. They don't quit when they lose or things don't go their way. They honour us and themselves every time they walk into the ring and show the dedication and courage inside themselves. Many are training 5 to 6 times a week for years at a time. Travelling overseas and interstate to challenge themselves at the next competition for the only glory of knowing they have bettered themselves or been taught the next lesson they need. To all those members we salute you and are proud to see you teach us all what the word Martial Artist means. Last weekend we had competitors at two separate competitions , well done to Sonya Peric-Ratten, Lara O'Callaghan at the Australian Cadet Team Selections in Canberra. Both performing well and Lara taking a silver medal and Sonya Bronze. Also a team at the Lows State Championships. Hadley Rachbind- gold, Zane Spargo, Ben Kennedy, David Deberner, Cruz Frisina- gold, Jorden Friesema- gold, Tyson Puggaard -Bronze, Alex Sweeney- gold, Eloise Allen -gold. Luke Walsh- gold, Sreten Bunijebac - silver. Well done all of you are champs! A shout out to Hadley Rachbind offering up his gold medal to his opponent who had to pull out due to injury. Martial Arts sportsmanship act of the year we think. Well done both teams ... See MoreSee Less

  • Dear instructors

Just a quick note to say a big thankyou for the hard work and dedication you have all puyt into the ICP program. Having finally committed to doing this program, I have discovered a whole new journey which has only just begun. I am now enjoying Taekwondo even more than before. For the first time, I can now say that I understand the way in which you instruct and the reasons for the lessons taught in class. This has given me a whole new view of this martial arts and I now look even more forward to becoming and instructor myself one day. It has given me new focus and has encouraged me more than ever.

Please note that I would recommend that to all students who are serious about this martial arts, look at doing the ICP course at their earliest convenience. Even those students, who are not looking at instructing but weould like to get more out of this discipline, would be well advised to enrol too.

Than you all, it is a privilege to be part of this unique school.

  • Dear coaches, assistant coaches and staff:

Your assistance with Tulsa and myself during the tournament on the weekend was much appreciated . The high level of professionalism shown reflected the calibre of the coaching staff. For a mum with a young fighter the support and organization was great. The coaching given to Tulsa was exceptional. He has come away from the experience not defeated for not having won a medal but with the knowledge that he did his best. He is excited and ready to tackle the next tournament.

I believe you are doing a wonderful job keeping the children motivated and enthused in the sport.

Thank you again from Tulsa and myself!

    Shannon Mann
  • Since starting at your martial arts club I have found absolute professionalism and friendliness beyond any other service I have ever come across. From the front desk all the way through to the instructors I have been assisted in the upmost awesome way. Having seen various clubs over the last 20 years your instructors are top class, world class and in a league of their own. They are very confident, yet humble and courteous to all participating. The classes are run with the view to make the most out of the alotted time and bring out the best in the students. I have had a lot of fun during my time with you and look forward to my future with you all.
