DEAR Members and Parents
As the mandated vaccine period starting the 1st of February is coming up, we would like this chance to communicate our plans for all anticipated Covid situations going forward.
Step one in this situation is to ensure you have liked our Facebook pages and have correct email information with us. We will be updating by Facebook and email as things may change day to day and these will be our most up to date communication platforms.
Our main Facebook page is ATI Martial Arts Community and it is most important you have this page to get updated information. Also like your ATI School group eg: ATI Martial Arts Malaga, ATI Martial Arts Manning, ATI Martial Arts Joondalup, etc, we have groups for all locations.
Please ensure you have registered for the members portal on our website atimartialarts.com.au. This is where all our online and streaming logins and classes will be. In brief we are committed to keeping you training online even if you can't attend in person.
Registering for the ATI members portal.
If you haven't already done so, please follow the instructions given in the recent Covid Information email that was sent to you to register yourself on the member’s portal.
Once registered you can access the ATI Member Portal via the Members Log-in button found above our website menu.
Below are the explanations of how we will continue your training during any disruption to our normal classes.
In School classes – these are our current classes you attend at the school in person. These will operate as normal until it is necessary to go online live due to isolation requirements for both staff and members. We do not envisage in school classes stopping for more than a week at a time.
Recorded Classes (Found in the ATI Member Portal)- We currently have a catalogue of recorded classes in our members portal. You can click on these links and use them anytime you want. They are face to face instruction for all programs and are available for all members.
Streaming classes (Access information found in the ATI Member Portal) – From Feb 1st We will live stream classes on Zoom from each school daily (Malaga, Joondalup ,Claremont) you can spectate or join in any class from home. We have a weekly streaming schedule for each of the three full time schools. This is slightly different to the normal school schedule so you can use all three schedules to cover your training. Some schools have a few streaming logins to cover morning classes and Saturdays.
Online Live Classes (Information found in the ATI Member Portal) – These are Classes that are done with an instructor on Zoom face to face. These will be used if locked down or in conjunction with skeleton school classes (lf we have staff or excessive members isolating.) We will notify you when we use this.
Modified school schedules. In case we have most our members or staff isolating we have pre planned modified schedules that can be run to continue in school classes. We will notify you if and when we switch to a modified schedule.
Unvaccinated parents – Although viewing is not part of our service we wish to maintain class viewing for all parents as best we can. So we will be opening all roller door’s at the schools for better ventilation and viewing from outside. This does offer direct viewing of classes. Also, all classes will be streamed on Zoom so you can watch from any device.
Unvaccinated Members 16+ – We Respect your right to choose and we will not judge. Please speak with us personally as we have a few options to continue your training and will discuss the options with you so you can choose what you would like to do after the mandate takes effect.
